2022 World Cup playoffs: Black Stars must play cautiously against Nigeria in Abuja - Odartey Lamptey

Former Ghana international, Nii Odartey Lamptey has cautioned the Black Stars ahead of their return leg fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Ghana were held to a 0-0 drawn at home in the first leg on Friday night t the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Black Stars will be hosted at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on Tuesday in the reverse leg game on Tuesday.

On the return match, Odartey believes Otto Addo and his charges must play with caution in Abuja.

“We have to be a bit cautious when we go to Nigeria. if we go all-out we’ll be punished…” he told Accra based Asaase Radio.

Meanwhile, the playing body together with the technical team have left the shores of the country for Abuja for the game.

Ghana, who are four-time African champions are seeking to play in the Mundial for the fourth time in their history.

The Black Stars have played in 2006, 2010 and 2014 in Germany, South Africa and in Brazil respectively.
