Published on: 16 October 2023

Bofoakwa Tano head coach, Frimpong Manso says his toughest opposition so far this season has been Bibiani Gold Stars.

In the matchday five games, Bofoakwa hosted Gold Stars at the Coronation Park in Sunyani on Saturday.

However, the game ended goalless as the Premier League returnees maintained the perfect start in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Speaking after the game, the former Asante Kotoko trainer praised Gold Stars and admitted they have been the toughest opposition so far this season.

“So far I will say this is the most difficult home game we have played," Manso told StarTimes.

"Bibiani are a good side, they have an experienced midfield, and at any point in time, you could see that they posed a threat.

“But I think we played well, we played well," he added.

Bofoakwa Tano are yet to record a defeat following their return to the top flight.

Frimpong Manso and his charges will be hosted by Karela United in the matchday six games at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday, October 22.
