2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Hearts of Oak in relegation zone after Round 6, Nsoatreman FC takes top spot

Week 6 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season was wrapped up on Monday, October 23.

The last game of the matchday was a game between Bibiani Gold Stars and Heart of Lions.

In a game in which the visitors trailed 2-0 at a point, the side managed to come from behind to secure a crucial point from a 2-2 draw at the end of the 90 minutes.

Summing up results from all nine matches played in Round 6 of the Ghana Premier League season, the standings of the division have changed.

Nsoatreman FC have climbed to the top of the table with 10 points from the first six games.

Samartex FC, Bofoakwa Tano, and Rea, Tamale United join Nsoatreman FC to complete the top four of the league log.

Defending champions Medeama Sporting Club are bottom of the league following a tough start to the campaign.

It is the same for giants Hearts of Oak. The struggling Phobians are 16th on the table and fighting to climb out of the relegation zone.

The third team in the relegation zone is Accra Lions.

It must be stated that Hearts of Oak and Accra Lions have a game to spare each while Medeama have two outstanding games to play.
