Hearts of Oak have stepped up preparations for the opening weekend of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The new top-flight league campaign is kicking off on Friday, September 15, with games set to be played throughout the weekend and ended on Wednesday, September 20.
Ahead of Hearts of Oak’s game against Real Tamale United, the team arrived in Tamale on Wednesday.
The team trained in the evening and will train today as well before the game tomorrow.
“Team Hearts will train today, (Wednesday, 13th September 2023) and tomorrow, Thursday, 14th September 2023) ahead of our BetPawa Premier League opener against Real Tamale United,” a club update said on Wednesday.
Hearts of Oak’s encounter against Real Tamale United on Friday is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
The Phobians are hoping to win to start off the new league season strongly.
