The Week 5 outstanding game of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season between Medeama Sporting Club and Nsoatreman Football Club has been played today, Thursday, November 9.
The home team, Medeama SC at the end of the contest, carried the day to secure all three points.
In the game played at Akoon Park in Tarkwa, Nsoatreman FC played well but did not find the back of the net, resulting in the team’s defeat.
Medeama Sporting Club secured the win thanks to a solitary strike from attacker Jonathan Sowah.
After the victory today, Medeama Sporting Club are now in the top four of the Ghana Premier League table.
The defending Ghana Premier League champions have 16 points from the 9 matches played this season.
The other teams in the top four include Aduana Stars, Nsoatreman FC, and Great Olympics.
Meanwhile, Karela United, Nations FC, and Accra Lions are the teams in the relegation zone.
