Ghana Premier League defending champions Medeama Sporting Club will begin their title defense against Lions Football Club.
The Mauve and Yellows will play the fixture at home - at the Tarkwa Akoon Park - against the Accra-based side.
The league season will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18 at the respective match venues across the country.
The Ghana Football Association released the fixtures for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Medeama SC won their maiden Ghana Premier League title on the final day of the 2022/23 season at home against Tamale City.
They amassed a total of 60 points to win the Ghana top flight title for the first time.
Medeama won the title with a gap of five points above second place Aduana Football Club.
Before their opening league game on the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18, they would have kicked off their CAF Champions League campaign against Nigeria's Remo Stars on August 19.
