In a highly competitive clash on Monday, Bechem United and Bibiani Goldstars will lock horns at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the Ghana Premier League as both teams seek for maximum points.

The Hunters are eager to maintain their winning run in the top-flight after picking a win in their previous game against Heart of Lions.

Bechem United are yet to suffer defeat in their last five games in the domestic top-flight, winning two and drawing three in the process.

Currently tied on 16 points with Hearts of oak, Asante Kotoko, Great Olympics and Bofoakwa Tano, Bismark Kobi Mensah and his charges will be yearning for victory to push further on the league standings.

The last four meetings between the two teams have been keenly contested with both teams wining two each.

On the other side, Bibiani Goldstars will be without their head coach Michael Osei who has been force take a short leave following the clubs’ recent unimpressive results.

Godwin Ablordey, who is the assistant coach is expected to lead the club and will be hoping to guide his outfit back to winning ways.

The miners are winless in their last five games, losing two and drawing three in the process.

With 11 points, Bibiani Goldstars find themselves in the relegation zones and must play above their levels to turn things around.

However, a defeat against the Hunters could deepen the woes of the Bibiani-based club.
