2023/24 Ghana Premier League Week 13: Match Report – Bofoakwa Tano 0-2 Samartex

Samartex FC beat Bofoakwa Tano 2-0 in their match week thirteen game on Saturday afternoon in Abrankese. 

Before the encounter 3rd place FC Samartex had won three, lost one, and drawn one in five games. 10th place Bofoakwa Tano had won one, drawn three, and lost one in five games.

Today's victory helped FC Samartex cement their third spot on the league table with 23 points.

Evans Osei-Wusu was brought down in the box after receiving a pass from Baba Hamadu Musah. The referee pointed to the spot and Evans Osei-Wusu stepped up to convert the penalty a few minutes into half-time.

After the break, Samartex continued to dominate possession and pushed more men forward.

Substitute Michael Ephson extended Samartex's lead to 2-0 in the 90th minute. Osei-Wusu was again involved in helping his team score the second with a fantastic dribble to assist Michael Ephson.

Bofoakwa tano will play champions Medeama in their next game and FC Samartex will clash with Heart of Lions.
