2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 14 Match Preview – Berekum Chelsea v Great Olympics

Published on: 08 December 2023

Berekum Chelsea will welcome Great Olympics to the Golden City Park in the Ghana Premier League week 14 clash on Sunday.

The Bibires are aiming for a swift return to victory after succumbing to a narrow defeat to Asante Kotoko last Monday.

Coach Christopher Ennin’s side have not performed badly in their last five game. They have managed three wins, one draw and one defeat, with the only defeat in this period coming against the Porcupine Warriors.

With 20 points after 13 games, Berekum Chelsea find themselves 6th on the Ghana Premier League. In their bid to push further on the table, the Berekum-based club will approach this game with all seriousness in search of maximum point on home turf.

On the other hand, Great Olympics have been unimpressive in their last five games in the domestic top-flight, winning one, drawing one and losing three.

The Dade Boys will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after home defeat against Legon Cities at Sogakope. Experienced trainer Annor Walker is under intense pressure to turn things around for the Accra-based club.

Knowing exactly what’s at stake, the former Black Galaxies coach must come up with a strategy that will yield a positive result for the Wonder Club.

Great Olympics are currently 10th on the Ghana Premier League standings with 16 points.
