Legon Cities will be seeking to return to winning ways when they take on Accra Lions on Sunday after suffering a false start to the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
The Royals suffered a 2-0 defeat to Karela United while Accra Lions were not in action this past weekend because their game against Medeama was postponed because of their involvement in Africa.
As it stands, Legon Cities are 9th with 24 points while Accra Lions, who have played a game less are five places behind the Royals.
Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side have now lost their last two games after winning the previous four in a row while Accra Lions have just two of their last six games, losing three and drawing one.
At home, Legon Cities have lost two of their last six games, winning three and drawing the other one.
In the last five head-to-head meetings, Accra Lions have claimed four wins, with just a single victory going the way of Legon Cities.
