Berekum Chelsea's match week three game against Accra Lions ended 1-1 at the Golden City Park on Friday afternoon.
The home side started the game with a sharp attack against Accra Lions in the early stages of the encounter.
Bernard Kesse broke the deadlock for Accra Lions after taking on the Berekum Chelsea backline to push the ball past goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere in the 10th minute.
The away side after scoring pushed more men forward to search for a second goal as the clock moved to halftime.
Goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere was alert to stop Shawkan Mohammed's effort from entering the net in the 35th minute.
Berekum Chelsea tried to equalize the score before the break but all their efforts went wide.
In the 61st minute, Mizack Afriyie scored the equalizing goal for Berekum Chelsea. The home side nearly added the second goal through Patrick Asiedu but the post stopped the ball.
Berekum Chelsea will play Aduana Stars in their next league game while Accra Lions will take on Asante Kotoko.
