Samartex have enhanced their chances of winning the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season following a resounding 3-0 win over Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday afternoon.
The team has been outstanding since the start of the 2023/24 league campaign and continues to play well.
Today, the league leaders hosted Bofoakwa Tano in their Week 30 match of the campaign.
In a game played at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samartex FC dominated the play from the start of the first half and needed just 15 minutes to take the lead.
A strike from Baba Hamadu Musah in the 17th minute gave the hosts the advantage before additional goals from Osei Wusu and Bowakye Owusu sealed a massive 3-0 win.
Following the convincing victory over Bofoakwa Tano, Samartex remains top of the league table with a seven-point lead.
Meanwhile, Bofoakwa Tano’s struggles in the league continue amid the fight to survive relegation.
