The match started with both teams showing strong intent. Dominic Amponsah's early cross troubled the Dreams defense but didn't yield a goal. By halftime, the score remained 0-0.
In the 50th minute, Amponsah struck the post with a fierce shot, keeping the pressure on Dreams FC. The breakthrough came in the 60th minute when Bernard Kesse scored a stunning left-footed goal, giving Accra Lions the lead.
Despite a late attempt from Edmond Amakye, which was saved by Dreams FC's goalie Solomon Agbasi, Accra Lions held firm. Dreams FC pushed for an equalizer, but Accra Lions' defense stood resilient.
