Published on: 14 June 2024

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will end their Ghana Premier League campaign with a home game against relegated Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday afternoon.

The Porcupine Warriors are aiming to finish the season on a high, having missed out on the tittle following their inconsistent performance throughout campaign.

Heading into the final round of games, the Ghanaian giants find themselves on 9th position with 46 points.

They will be hoping to maintain their winning run after beating Real Tamale United in an away fixture last weekend.

In their last five games, Kotoko have three wins and two defeats in the domestic top-flight campaign.

The result form this game will not have any effect on the league standings considering the state of both teams. Kotoko will be finishing on mid-table whiles Bofoakwa Tano returns to the Division One League after just a season.

Meanwhile, Kotoko will be aiming for a back to back wins over Bofoakwa Tano, having snatch a 2-0 away win over their opponent in the first half of the campaign.

Bofoakwa Tano, on the other hand, have been poor in their last five games, with four defeats and just a draw. The Sunyani-based have suffered four consecutive defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Bofoakwa Tano are 17th on the league standings, accumulating 33 points.
