The Dade boys swiftly netted three goals in the first half, clinching a significant win at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon to conclude match week five of the 2023/24 season.
Michael Yeboah scored a two-minute brace before Emmanuel Antwi added a third to seal the victory for Coach Annor Walker’s side.
This marks Great Olympics’ second win of the season, alongside two draws.
Yeboah opened the scoring for the home side, capitalizing on a goalkeeping mistake from David Afful in the 10th minute of the capital derby.
He added his second goal just two minutes later, once again capitalizing on a goalkeeper error.
Antwi secured the third goal for Great Olympics in the 19th minute, confirming the win for the hosts, as Accra Lions failed to mount a comeback.
