Published on: 20 October 2023

Karela United are aiming to bounce back to winning ways when they face high-flying Bofoakwa Tano in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Having been inconsistent after five games into the campaign, Karela United will be hoping to change the narrative in the week six fixture at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Karela United have managed just a win so far, drawing two and losing two in the process, with their last defeat coming against Real Tamale United last weekend. They are 11th on the league log with five points.

Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko’s side will be seeking for the three maximum points to boost their season but they come up against Bofoakwa Tano, who have been brilliant since the commencement of the campaign.

The Ghana Premier League returnees have managed two wins and three stalemates in the five games played so far. They are currently tied on nine points with Great Olympics and Samartex in the top three.

The game promises to be a thrilling one, as both teams will be yearning for maximum points to boost their season.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has appointed Maxwell Owusu to handle the clash at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
