Dreams FC were unable to make their home advantage count after suffering defeat against Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League week eight clash.

In a highly competitive fixture, the Still Believe lads hosted Berekum Chelsea at the Theatre of Dreams – Dawu on Wednesday.

Both teams went into the game on the back of narrow defeats in their last Ghana Premier League clash. The Still Believe lads lost 1-0 to Legon Cities at the El-Wak Stadium whiles Berekum Chelsea succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Nsoatreman FC.

Today, coach Christopher Ennin and his charges travelled from Berekum to beat Dreams FC 2-0 at their own backyard. The win ensured Berekum Chelsea are back to winning ways.

In a spirited performance, Berekum Chelsea wasted no time to break the deadlock in highly competitive clash after Dramani Awuah found the back of the net after just 14 minutes into the game.

Before the halftime break, experience attacker Stephen Amankona scored to double the advantage for the visitors in the crucial game.

And with no additional goal in the second half, Berekum Chelsea cruised to victory to merit the maximum points in Dawu.

Berekum Chelsea needed the win to boost their campaign after suffering back to back defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight.

The win sends Berekum Chelsea to the 10th position with 10 points whiles Dreams FC drops to the relegation zone with just 8 points.
