2023/24 Women’s Premier League: Pearlpia Ladies' winless streak continues [Full Northern Zone results]

Pearlpia Ladies faced a setback in their quest for a win as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Dreamz Ladies in Tamale on Friday during match week two of the 2023/2024 Ghana Women's Premier League.

The home side started strong, with Samira Ayingura Akadegere finding the net in the 14th minute. However, their lead was short-lived as Precious Asante equalized for Dreamz Ladies before half-time.

Pearlpia Ladies made offensive substitutions in an effort to secure a victory, but their efforts fell short, and they couldn't find the back of the net before the final whistle.

Meanwhile, in Tamale, Super Ladies faced a tough challenge from Kumasi Sports Academy. Despite creating clear goal-scoring opportunities, the visitors couldn't capitalize.

Sandra Osei Nyarko gave the visitors the lead in the 35th minute, but the hosts displayed resilience, leveling the score in the 95th minute with Alhassan Asana converting a penalty kick.
