After a goalless first half, Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus broke the deadlock in the 52 minute to put Ghana ahead in the game.

AS Roma attacker, Felix Afena Gyan also scored his debut goal for the Black Stars in the game in the 57 minute.

Substitute Osman Bukari sealed it off with the 3rd goal in the game in the 85th minute.

The home side could have won the game by a wider margin as Kudus scored in the 68th minute but was flagged offside by the match official.

The result lifts Ghana to the summit of Group E with a better goal difference after Angola defeated Central Africa Republic 2-1 in the group's other game earlier in the day.

The Black Stars will travel to play the Central African Republic in four days' time while Madagascar hosts Angola in the group's other game.
