Ghana coach Chris Hughton says his outfit is focused ahead of their clash with Angola on Monday.

The Palancas Negras of Angola will play host to the Black Stars at the Estadio November 11 Stadium in matchday four of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ahead of the clash, the former Brighton manager has disclosed his sides readiness for the encounter this afternoon.

“Absolutely, the players are focused, they know what the game means, they know is away from home and big crowed they expect. This national football and everybody wants to play the best level so the players know the task in hand, probably, we have to play well to enable us to get good results.

“Everybody knows that, you can never predict how the game will go, we just have to work hard as we can to make sure that the game goes in our favour”

Ghana sit top of Group E with seven points after three games, three points clear off second-place Angola while Central African Republic sit third with four points.

The Black Stars will secure qualification to the continental showpiece to be hosted by Ivory Coast if they beat Angola in Luanda.
