2023 AFCON qualifiers: Eight Black Stars players train with Chris Hughton at Accra Sports Stadium

In preparation for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola on Thursday, the Black Stars began their training sessions on Monday.

Before Chris Hughton's debut game as head coach of the national team, eight players practiced at the Accra Sports Stadium under the direction of captain Andre Ayew, per Joy Sports.

Joojo Wollacott, Inaki Williams, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Paintsil, and newcomer Ransford-Yeboah were among the other players present at the session.

The remaining players are anticipated to arrive on Monday evening in order to board the team's flight to Kumasi in time for Tuesday's practice at the Baba Yara stadium.

When the rest of the group was instructed to stretch their muscles and do a little kickabout with the ball, Joojo Wollacott, who sustained an injury before to the World Cup last year, met with goalkeepers' trainer Richard Kingston.
