The Black Stars gave away two goals again to draw 2-2 against Mozambique in their final Group B game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana’s hopes of making it to the next round are dashed as they are currently out of contention for third best placed spot.

Richard Ofori - 1
His silliness cost Ghana the game. Why touch the ball when you know you are not able to grab it safely? He gave away a corner from a harmless ball that led to the equalizer.
Denis Odoi - 3
Was okay and did put up a fight until he was taken off.
Gideon Mensah - 5
The Auxerre man was one of Ghana’s best performers in the game and was impressive throughout.
Mohammed Salisu - 4
Was putting his body on everything though sometimes over-enthusiastic. He held down the back and made some important blocks.
Alexander Djiku - 4
The same as Salisu, he was also solid and sometimes over-committed.
Majeed Ashimeru - 2
We didn’t see a lot of him until he was taken off after 37 minutes.
Salis Samed - 3
Everything was going well and he was putting up his normal performance until everything spiked up.
Jordan Ayew - 7
Manned up and took responsibility to convert the penalties, and did play his normal game of holding up play.
Mohammed Kudus - 5
It wasn’t his best game but he won a penalty and was adjudged Man of the Match though others think Jordan should have won it.
Joseph Paintsil - 5
He was composed and was causing trouble for Mozambique. He won a penalty for Ghana that gave us the lead but went into the break and was subbed off curiously for Andre Ayew to come on.
