2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers: Black Stars to hold final training session today ahead of Angola clash

The senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana will hold their final training session later today at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The four-time African champions will host the Palancas Negras of Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers on Thursday, March 23 in a doubleheader.

The Black Stars will subsequently travel to Luanda for the return game in four days' time.

Ghana officially opened camp on Monday night at the Accra where eight players held training session under the new head coach of the side, Chris Hughton.

The playing body on Tuesday evening held their second training session at the Baba Yara Stadium with 24 players with a player left to team up in camp.

However, the team at 16:00GMT later today will hold their final training session ahead of the game.

The 25-man squad invited for the games are expected to part in the training session later today.

The game has been scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT on Thursday with the Black Stars aiming to record their second win in the qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Chris Hughton, who has signed a 21-month deal as the new coach for the team will face the media later today.
