2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers: Black Stars to return to action in June

The Black Stars of Ghana must prepare for a strong finish in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers later this year in June.

Pitted in Group E of the qualifiers, Ghana has done very well so far and stands a good chance of securing qualification for the next AFCON scheduled to be staged in Ivory Coast.

At the end of the second round of the qualifiers, the Black Stars managed to amass four points.

This was after a 1-0 win against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium and a draw against the same opponent in the reverse fixture.

With the international break in March now over, the Black Stars squad has dispersed with players returning to their various clubs.

The next assignment for the Ghana national team in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament will be in June.

The Black Stars will face off with Madagascar on June 12. A win is likely to qualify Ghana for the 2023 AFCON.
