Ghanaians have taken to social media to react to Black Stars' 1-1 draw with Angola on Monday afternoon at the Estadio de Novembro.

Due to a knock, Chris Hughton started the game without Thomas Partey. In midfield, a double pivot of Salis Abdul Samed and Edmund Addo was necessitated.

The game began with a lot of pace and pressure from the home side in their pursuit of an early goal.

After returning from the break, Helder Costa missed a fantastic opportunity to take the lead by striking well wide of the target.

Angola was handed an outrageous penalty after Daniel Amartey was punished for pulling down Gelson in the box.

Lucas Joao went up and scored superbly in the 51st minute to put the Palancas Negras ahead.

The visitors' persistent pressure paid in the 72nd minute when substitute Osman Bukari connected with Joseph Paintsil's cross with his first touch.

Joseph Paintsil came so close to putting Ghana ahead for the first time in the game in the 81st minute, but his shot flew over the crossbar. The game ended 1-1 and the Black Stars of Ghana continue to lead the group.
