South Africa head coach, Hugo Broos has indicated that his team will be ready for the semi-final encounter against Nigeria in midweek.
After beating Cape Verde on penalties in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), South Africa will now take on Nigeria in the semis.
Ahead of the clash, South Africa Coach Hugo Broos has admitted that it will be a tough match.
The experienced coach insists that his Bafana Bafana has nothing to lose and will prepare well for the game.
"The semi-final will be tough against Nigeria's great players but we have nothing to lose now.
"The players will recover and prepare, but staying focused is essential,” Coach Hugo Broos said.
The semi-final encounter between Nigeria and South Africa is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, February 7.
The two national teams have had days to prepare and fancy their chances of winning to reach the finals of the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
