The match, held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, saw Uganda’s Allan Oyirworth emerge as the hero with a crucial goal just before the hour mark, sealing the fate of the highly fancied Senegal side.

The decisive goal in the 58th minute propelled Uganda to six points after their earlier victory against Nigeria, sending shockwaves through the tournament.
