2023 CAF Women's Champions League: SC Casablanca game will be tougher than AS FAR win - Ampem Darkoa Coach

Ampem Darkoa Ladies head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa believes that their game against Sporting Club Casablanca on Wednesday night will be tougher than their comeback win over defending champions AS FAR in their first group game.

The Ghana champions are set to face another Moroccan side in the semifinal of the 2023 CAF Women's Champions League at the Laurent Pokou Stadium.

Nana Adarkwa said the win over AS FAR will prompt SC Casablanca that they are not a side to walk over.

"This game will be tougher than the first group game. they know that we have beaten one of their top sides, AS FAR. When they are coming into the game, they will know that we are not minnows. We are a very good side so they will do all their best," he said at a press conference.

"We are not going to sit down and say we have beaten AS FAR so we can get them easily, it is not going to work like that."

The two teams are both making their debut in the competition that is running for three years now.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies will hope to reach the final and become the first Ghanaian team to win the title.
