Austrian defender of Ghanaian descent, Kevin Danso featured for Austria on Monday when they lost 1-0 to France at the 2024 European Championship.
The RC Lens full-back started for his national team today in their opening game at the Euros.
In the Group D contest, Kevin Danso played very well throughout the contest as he played full throttle.
He was a nuisance for France poster boy Kylian Mbappe and ensured the new Real Madrid forward did not have his day.
In the second half, a clash between Kevin Danso and Kylian Mbappe left the latter with a bleeding nose.
The former PSG star was later spotted being taken out of the Stadium in an Ambulance.
Eventually, France bagged all three points from the game thanks to an own goal from Maximilian Wober in the 38th minute.
