2024 WAFCON: Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle names starting XI to take on Namibia

Head coach Nora Hauptle has named a strong starting XI to take on Namibia in the first leg of the 2024 WAFCON qualifiers.

Nora Häuptle supervised Black Queens' final training yesterday at the match venue.

Portia Boakye captain's the side today, Alice Kusi starts on the wing, Jennifer Cudjoe starts in midfield, and goalkeeper Findiib Konlan is in post for the Queens.

Defender Susan Ama Duah and Azumah Bugre are also in the starting XI.

Ghana’s Black Queens are playing as the home team. The Queens remain poised for total victory as echoed by head coach Nora Hauptle in her pre-match press conference.

She added that the girls are highly spirited because they will be playing in front of their own fans, but cautioned that teamwork would be required in securing a win on Friday. 

The game will kick off at 3:30 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
