2024 Women's AFCON qualifiers: GFA President visits Black Queens ahead of Namibia showdown

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku recently paid a visit to the Black Queens during their training sessions in Accra as they prepare for the crucial 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations final round 1st leg qualifier against Namibia.

In order to secure a place in the upcoming tournament in Morocco, the Ghana women's national team  need to beat Namibia's "Brave Gladiators" across two legs.

President Simeon-Okraku was accompanied by General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton, and Ama Brobey Williams, the Head of Women's Football at the Technical Directorate.

During his visit, President Okraku provided motivation to both the players and the technical team, encouraging them to deliver an impressive performance in their quest for qualification.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled for a 3:30 pm kick-off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, December 1, 2023.

The Black Queens will hope to get a big win and the return fixture in Namibia will be a mere formality on December 5.
