2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Black Stars aiming to build momentum under Otto Addo after WCQ back-to-back wins

The Black Stars have today discovered their opponents for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

At the end of the draw for the group in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ghana is in Group F.

The Black Stars will face off with Angola, Sudan, and Niger.

With the draw now done, the Black Stars will be aiming to build on the momentum from the last two matches under head coach Otto Addo.

In games against Mali and Central African Republic in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Black Stars secured 2-1 and 4-3 wins to get back on track in the qualifying campaign.

The Black Stars will begin their 2025 AFCON qualification campaign later this year in September.

The Ghana male senior national team will hope for the next in the qualifiers to earn a ticket to compete in Morocco.
