Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has said the technical handlers of the Black Stars have started working to ensure the country secures qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ghana, who are aiming to end its 42-year trophy drought have been paired with Angola, Niger and Sudan in Group F of the qualifiers.
Reacting to the draw, Asante Twum said Otto Addo and his technical team members started working immediately after the draw was announced.
He also added that the team will not underrate any of their opposition.
"The technical team led by Otto Addo have started working to ensure we qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)," he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.
"We have participated in every in the last decade or even more but we are in a group that we don't have to underestimate any of the opponents.
"Work has already started and we hope to qualify this time as well," he added.
The qualifiers for the tournament that will be hosted in Morocco will kick off in September later this month.
