Ghana's quest for a crucial win in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers was halted once more, as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Niger on Monday afternoon at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, Morocco.

Following a 1-0 defeat to Angola in their Group F opener, fans anticipated a revitalized performance. Stade Rennais defender Alidu Seidu gave Ghana hope with a thunderous strike in the 44th minute, assisted by West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus, breaking through Niger’s solid defense.

However, Niger responded in the 81st minute when defender Oumar Sako found the back of the net with an assist from Moussa Kassa Moudou. Despite their efforts, Ghana was unable to secure a second goal, leaving them winless after two matches.

The Black Stars now face mounting pressure as they prepare for a double-header against Kwesi Appiah's Sudan in their upcoming qualifiers, hoping to turn their fortunes around in Group F.
