Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has named his starting lineup to face Niger in Monday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Berkane Municipal Stadium in Morocco.

Majeed Ashimeru has replaced Elisha Owusu in midfielder while Inaki Williams took the place of Jordan Ayew.

The rest of the team is unchanged from the Angola defeat.

The backline remains the same, with Tariq Lamptey and Alidu Seidu as full backs, and Salisu Mohammed partnering with Abdul Mumin in central defense.

Captain Thomas Partey will control the midfield with Majeed Ashimreu and Mohammed Kudus, while Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams will make up the front three.

The Black Stars lost 1-0 to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in their opening qualifier.

Milson, who came off the bench, scored the only goal for the Palancras Negras, thwarting Ghanaian hopes.

Niger, meanwhile, also suffered a 1-0 loss to Sudan at the Juba Stadium in South Sudan on Wednesday.

The game will kick off at 4 pm.
