Rayo Vallecano's dynamic defender, Abdul Mumin, has returned to the Ghanaian national squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Coach Chris Hughton's decision comes as a testament to Abdul Mumin's exceptional performance in the Spanish top flight, where he has already notched up four appearances and netted a crucial goal.

Abdul Mumin's journey to the international stage has been nothing short of spectacular. Having honed his skills at the renowned Right to Dream academy, he made a decisive move to Rayo Vallecano on September 1, 2022, after a successful stint with Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimarães, in a transfer deal worth a staggering 1,500,000 million euros.

Ghanaian fans are now eagerly awaiting Abdul Mumin's impact as they face formidable challenges against Madagascar and Comoros in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana will play Madagascar on November 17th at the Baba Yara Stadium and fly out to take on Comoros on November 21st.
