In a pivotal move ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros, TSG Hoffenheim's seasoned defender, Kasim Adams, is set to make a return to the Ghanaian squad.

Coach Chris Hughton has added the former Leganes youth player to the 25-man roster, signaling a significant reinforcement in Ghana's defensive lineup.

Adams, with an impressive record of 14 international caps and two crucial goals to his name, first donned the Black Stars jersey on October 10, 2017, under the stewardship of former coach Kwesi Appiah, who now leads Sudan's national team.

Last season Kasim Adams played for FC Basel on loan. He made 28 appearances, scored one goal, and assisted one in the Swiss Super League.

Kasim Adams joined TSG Hoffenheim on 25th July 2018 from Swiss outfit Young Boys for 8 million euros.

Ghana will host Madagascar on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before facing Comoros in Moroni on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
