Five of the nine matches featured four or more goals.Liverpool predictably bounced back from a devastatingly awful performance against a bottom six club, to produce a scintillating one against one from thea top six, Arsene Wenger decided to appease the haters by dropping his best player, while Man Utd couldn't quite elbow their way out of sixth.

Here's a roundup of six of the best moments from another weekend of Premier League football...

Best Goal

Troy Deeney scored the pick of the litter in what had every right to be the last highlights featured onVicarage Road, but instead turned out to be one of the games of the season.

Deeney fashioned the opener in the 3-4 defeat for the Hornets with a neat volley that would've torn most people's groin muscle even thinking about lift their leg that high.

Best Game

Another game that surprised many with its 'barn burner-osity' saw Paul Clement's Swansea clinch a last gasp win over Burnley -who were denied only their second away point this season.

The clash featured a delicious back heel assist from Gylfi Sigurdsson, two walloping headers from Fernando Llorente, Clement doing his best Jose Mourinho run down the touchline, and quite possiblythe oddest penalty decision you will see this season.

Lovely stuff.

Best Pass

Special mention to the Sigurdsson assist, but Liverpool workaholicAdam Lallana's take, turn and spray to set up Divock Origi forthe Reds' crucial third in the dying moments was a thing of beauty.

There you go kids, hard work pays off.

*Disclaimer: You also have to be very good.

Best Save

Apparently retiring from international duty has given 37-year-old Artur Boruc a new lease of life.

The Cherries Polish stopper, who was awarded man of the match, kept Man Utd at bay with his wrists of reinforced titanium on six separate occasions -most notably pushing away alow penalty in the 71st minute, to coverZlatan Ibrahimovic's face in egg to go with the stud marks.

Best Fake News

"We are not the kind of generation who goes to the media and cries about what happened." - verbatim Jose Mourinho quote, 2017.

Best Slide Tackle on a Referee

Taking revenge for the general substandard of officiating this weekend, people's championMamadou Sakho performed aninch-perfect dispossession of Mike Jones to delight of everyone who enjoys a bit of random vigilantejustice.
