Kwabena Owusu's brace inspired Black Meteors to a 2-0 win over Mali as the team progress to the semi-finals of the 2019 CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
Ghana qualified to the semi-final when Egypt defeated Cameroon 2-1,enabling Meteors to qualify with 4 points below host country Egypt.
The first 45 minutes of the game ended goalless with the Malians dominating and causing troubles for the Black Meteors defence.
Meteors came alive with Ten minutes after the second half through FC Leganes striker Kwabena Owusu who found the net again on 85th minute when he converted a one on one chance to make it 2-0 for Ghana against the Mali side.
