Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak have safely touched down in Morocco ahead of the team’s CAF Champions League encounter against Wydad AC.

The Phobians after winning the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title are now representing the country in the CAF Champions League.

Last Sunday, Hearts of Oak hosted Wydad AC at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first of a scheduled two-legged tie in the playoffs to the group stage of the elite inter-club competition.

Following a very tough contest, Hearts of Oak still managed to dominate and cruised to a narrow 1-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes courtesy of a strike from forward Isaac Mensah.

With that advantage, the Ghana Premier League outfit have today travelled to Casablanca where they will be facing Wydad AC in the return leg.

The club is aiming to wrap up preparations in the next two days before the crucial meeting on Sunday, October 24, 2022.
