A dream come true - Mathew Anim Cudjoe after scoring for Dundee United against Arbroath FC

Mathew Anim Cudjoe has reacted to helping Dundee United beat Arbroath FC with a goal and an assist in the Scottish Championship.

The game which was played at the Gayfield Park ended 4-0 in favour of Dundee United.

The midfielder who can play in attack started for his team yesterday in the opening game of the 2023/24 lower-tier league of Scotland.

Given a role on the flanks, Mathew Anim Cudjoe did not disappoint his manager as he displayed great work ethic on the filed.

His quality on the ball, ability to go past markers, and eye for a pass was on full display and helped the away team to hammer the host in the first half.

Dundee United in the game today took the lead after just 11 minutes when Glen Middleton opened the scoring with a good strike.

Later in the 25th minute, Mathew Anim Cudjoe was presented with a good chance and made no mistake as he doubled the lead for the visitors.

Before the break, the former Asante Kotoko star assisted a goal as Dundee United went into the break four goals up against Arbroath FC.

Cudjoe took to his official Twitter page to tweet: " A dream come true! What a great performance from the team! very happy for the victory, goal and assist! To the Tangerines fans,"

The big win has sent Dundee United to the top of the Scottish Championship ahead of other games to be played on Saturday and Sunday.

Mathew Anim Cudjoe, 19, has started off the new season with a good show and will hope to keep up the form as the season progresses.
