Ghanaian full back Abdul Baba Rahman has been left out of Chelsea's 24-man squad for the UEFA Super Cup clash with Villarreal.
The former Augsburg man was believed to have performed quite well during the preseason camp. However, his showing was not enough for a spot in the list.
Chelsea, having won the UEFA Champions League last season, customarily faces the winners of the UEFA Europa League which happens to be Villarreal. The match is expected to be played on Wednesday.
