Abdul Fatawu Safiu scores for Trelleborgs FF in big away win

Ghanaian international, Abdul Fatawu Safiu registered his name on the scoresheet for Trelleborgs FF on Sunday evening to help the side beat Norrby 3-1 in the Swedish Superettan.

The two clubs were in action this evening for a clash on Matchday 13 of the ongoing football season.

Following a good start to the game, Dijan Vukojevic opened the scoring for Norrby on the 6th minute after he was assisted by Abdelkarim Mammar Chaouche.

They could however not keep the momentum going as Trelleborgs FF turned the tide in the second half.

First, Salif Joensson scored on the 64th minute to restore parity for the away team before an equalizer from Abdul Fatawu Safiu gave the side the lead for the first time in the game.

Later on, Fredrik Liverstam also found the back of the net to seal a massive 3-1 away win for Trelleborgs FF.

Abdul Fatawu Safiu, 26, has now scored 5 goals after making 13 appearances for his team in the Swedish Superettan.
