Ghana U20 first choice goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen has finally joined the team at their camping base in Niger with just 4 days to the start of the tournament.
The team left Ghana for Niger on Monday – January 21 – but without the goalkeeper who was helping his club Kas Eupen in the Belgium domestic league.
The goalkeeper was not part of the team in their final week in Ghana as they wrapped up their preparation.
With the team in Niger since Monday, Manaf’s presence will be a massive boost to the team’s preparation for the competition which kicks off this weekend.
Emmanuel Toku is the only player left to join the team due to some issues with his passport.
