Abednego Tetteh aiming to take Hearts of Oak back to Africa

Ghanaian goal poacher, Abednego Tetteh has shared that he wants to help Hearts of Oak qualify to Africa during his time at the club.

The former Bechem United man has been signed by the Phobians and even though he trained with the team before the Ghana Premier League campaign was suspended, he could not make an appearance due to the delay in the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

With that issue solved and with the potent striker ready to begin his career at Hearts of Oak, he says his aim is to help the club return back to Africa to compete in CAF’s inter-club competition.

“I want to help the club qualify for Africa and win the league title. I already feel at home because the players here are already my friends. Football is one language and any team that you join irrespective of race or language makes you feel at home”, Abednego Tetteh said while speaking to Happy FM.

The goal poacher will compete for a starting role together with strikers Kofi Kordzi and Danjuma Kuti when the football season resumes.
