Accra Great Olympics striker Abel Manomey has revealed that his main objective is to help to team escape syndrome of relegation.
The club has struggled to stay up any time they gained promotion into the league and have gained lots of nicknames out of that stigma.
The Accra based side had a difficult first round in this season’s premier league leading to them appointing Swedish tactician Tom Strand.
Manomey who has scored five times for the wonder clubs want to score more goals to help the team avoid the unwanted journey of playing in and out of the premiership.
“The objective of me starting the league is to help Olympics be somewhere comfortable at the end of the season. It will be history for us if this badge of Olympics players are able to hold on and not getting relegated,” he said.
“For 18 years and we have been in and out in and out so it will be history for us and I will want to be part of the history makers.”
Accra Great Olympics have had a good start to the second run until they were thrashed at home by Tema Yoiuth 4-0.
They next come up against Liberty Professionals in the match Day 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
