Abramovich keen to add Slutsky to Chelsea management team

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen to add Leonid Slutsky in a formal role following his departure from Hull City.

Slutsky left Hull as manager by mutual consent last week, but could yet remain in England by returning to Chelsea.

The former Russia coach did some informal work for Chelsea a year ago as he learned English ahead of taking the Tigers job.

Sport Express says Abramovich now wants to hire him for the front office after former technical director Michael Emenalo's departure for Monaco.

Slutsky could step in as Chelsea's new technical director, though he also has offers to return to the Russian Premier League.
