There's talk of Gattuso being handed a new deal to 2020.
But he said: “I always hated compliments when I was a player and I still struggle with them as a Coach. As I always said, I am living the dream right now, I have a lot of responsibility on my shoulders and I'm proud of what I'm doing.

“I see the lads strongly believe in what I tell them. I don't want to be a burden for Milan. Before, the players would vanish from the field at the sign of the first difficulty, but what you're seeing now is all down to them."
