AC Milan coach Montella: No need to rush striker signing

AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella insists they do not need to rush their next striker signing.

Milan are being linked with Chelsea striker Diego Costa this week.

“We've stopped for a moment after working so hard [on the transfer market]," Montella explained in his Press conference ahead of the CSU Craiova game.

“We don't have all this hurry, we're attentive. There's no deadline."

Two of the summer's signings, André Silva and Hakan Calhanoglu have been introduced slowly, but Montella assured there are no issues.

“André Silva? The lad is doing well, we know he needs to grow because he's just arrived. Yesterday he had a small problem with his finger, I'll evaluate whether to play him.

“It's normal for there to be competition at a big club, a great player has to deal with these situations. There's no rush, and he has to adapt.

“As for Calhanoglu, he's better, he hasn't played for some time, Suso hasn't played much either. There are a lot of players who have to improved physically, including Hakan, but he's a great talent."
