AC Milan consider sacrificing key midfielder with Chelsea in the frame

AC Milan are pondering whether or not to sell Franck Kessie in the coming months with lucrative offers on the table for both the club and the player.

The Ivorian international has cemented his place in the Rossoneri starting-eleven since his arrival from Atalanta, a deal which is likely to be finalised come the end of the season.

However La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Kessie could be sold by Milan, with a number of offers on the table from Chinese side Beijing Guoan and teams in the Premier League.

Kessie would earn as much as €10 million a season should he consent to a move to China, but the 22-year-old has remained cautious of burning his bridges in Europe.

Chelsea appear the most likely destination in England, with the Blues looking to capitalise on the deal that has seen Tiemoue Bakayoko join Milan this season.

Should Milan be forced into selling Kessie then an offer of at least €50 million would be needed to start the negotiations.
